The Grandjó Branco is a classic example of the wines produced in the region. Made from grapes of our Quinta do Casal da Granja, this fresh Douro white has revealed to be a fantastic partner for the most diverse styles of gastronomy.
The region is famous for the Moscatel Galego variety, which serves as the base for the Grandjó Branco, alongside the traditional Viosinho. Recently, Gewurztraminer has been introduced to the blend to increase the aromatic dimension and provide a broader structure and higher acidity.
A clean, bright, lemon coloured demi-sec wine with floral rose aromas and hints of tropical fruit. A middle palate highlighted by fruity flavours and a very subtle sweetness. Its lively acidity leads to a youthful and refreshing finish.
