The Quinta de Cidrô Sauvignon Blanc was one of the first experiments we carried out at the Quinta and which rapidly grew to become our most popular white wine. This Sauvignon Blanc unites the best of the two worlds: on one side the Douro’s power and concentration while on the other side, the elegance and character of this famous French variety.

Winemaking

100% Sauvignon Blanc, for which we apply vaguardist tecniques of field selection that are essential for its varietal character. During the harvest, we identify in each parcel of Sauvignon Blanc, distinct levels of vigour which are then harvest separatly, allowing a more precise and careful vinification.

TASTING NOTES

A Sauvignon Blanc of great aromatic expression with youthful notes of espargus, green pepper and grapefruit fully integrated with an evident mark of minerality. In the glass shows richness and intensity with a sense of subtlety and freshness.
