The Ruby Reserva is one of the beautiful Ports produced in this emblematic Quinta and produced from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Carvalha planted on the property. The Reserva designation is assigned to this Ruby for its superior quality, resulting of a more criterious selection of grapes.
For the Reserva Ruby, fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats until its interruption through the addition of brandy. The wine then ages in oak vats for a period of 2 years.
Deep ruby colour, reveals fruity aromas of ripe wild berries and cherries. Its soft tannins and a joyful and persistent burst of mature fruit highlight its freshness and complexity.
