Produced in in the heart of the Douro Valley, at one of the most symbolic estates of the Region, this Quinta das Carvalhas Port reveals itself as an elegant and velvety Tawny of 7 years. The designation of Reserva assigned to this Tawny for its superior quality.
This Port begins fermentation in stainlees steel tanks until interrupted through the addition of brandy, preserving its natural sugars. It is then carefully aged in old oak barrels and vats for a period of 7 years.
An elegant Tawny showing golden reflexes and a redish-brown colour. Intensely aromatic, with hints of raisins, honey and chocolate, bringing to memory the aromas of tradition. Velvety on the palate and rich in flavours of dry fruit and red berry jam.
