The Ports selected for the D. José Tawny are fermented in stainless steel in contact with skins until its interruption through the addition of brandy. The ageing process is then carried out in old oak vats for an average period of 4 years.
TASTING NOTES
A young Tawny Port, of deep colour and auburn shades, that reveals notes of ripe red fruit and hints of spice, harmoniously combined with touches of oak from its ageing. A Port of refined flavours, balanced sweetness and a long lasting acidity.
